I wanna be famous because…I would like to be a success story.
Since I was a little girl in grade school, kids used to make fun of me for being a tall, gangly, buck-toothed, “fish-lipped”, glasses-wearing, Pokemon and Harry Potter fanatic—obsessed dork. I have greatly changed since my middle school and High School days and I am now a College freshman. I now have a new self-respect for myself because my “fish-lips” grew to be full and pouty (enviously so–next Angie maybe?), my height was actually an advantage, I got contact lenses, my buckteeth were tamed and I did it all without the pressures of conformity. These days, I still am a huge dork (not that it’s a bad thing), who enjoys playing video games, obsessing over the late Heath Ledger, reading fanfiction, creating roleplay dressup YouTube videos, and reading comic books (ahem…Batman, of course). I belive I should be famous because through it all, I learned to overcome the bullying and realize that one shouldn’t let the pressures of society in a changing world affect who you truly are as a person. Oh, and did I mention that I’m a pretty swell actress? That’s right, I played Elly May in my High School’s production of the Beverly Hillbillies. My role was praised highly by my peers (not to toot my own horn….Toot), but I belive that acting is my calling. You should feature me on your site because when I’m famous, I’ll encourage everyone who has a dream that they don’t believe is attainable to persist and no matter what the circumstances are surrounding your current predicament, you must move on and face the world not as a challenge, but as an opportunity.
